True! We're actually leaving Jan. 1. Back to Texas for a while. I'm in talks/progress with some people on some fun projects, and there only seems to be more opportunity from there. The only party in my future is Elliots birthday on the 17th, holy crap my son will be a year in a week, not that I wouldn't mind something else just don't really have the time right now. I still want to go to grad school, now just isn't the time. Make sure you don't get trapped in the SCAD GRAD become a teacher cycle. No offense to anyone that does that, but it's a bit like inbreeding. That and you deserve to get at least one thing published before taking that road. I loved your work for advanced inking, sweet dry brush action! Maybe we can get together with a few other peeps, for a little lunch/dinner, that would be fun. There's not much time left so we should do it soon.
Yes yes. I'll be back from my parents house on the 26th. I wasn't thinking something big--just grabbing the usual gang and having a nice lunch/dinner fiesta or something would be lovely.
Also, I can't believe your son is that old either! They do grow up fast. Give him a high five for me.
I want to teach--but definitely not at SCAD. Not ever. And it's for the exact reason you're talking about. I want to teach at some other college and spread the gene pool a bit. I'm glad that you like the stuff I've been putting up. It was a fun quarter
